The 2026 Hive Online World Championship is ready to enter the Single-Elimination Knock Out Phase!
Here are the players who advanced from the Group Phase.
Group A – Current world champion, DrBeeezz won the group. Rizeagain finished second.
Group B – In what might be considered an upset, Kaur50 from Chile defeated four-time world champion, Jewdoka 2.5-1.5 and finished first in the group, winning by tiebreaks. But, the former world champion and Hive author finished second and also moves on.
Group C – OrdepCubik, YouTuber from Spain, was undefeated. The only blemish on his record was a drawn game with mangouste. But, tigrisbela finished second and advances.
Group D – SimHotA and antoinelr move on from this group even though three games were not played, SimHotA wins the group. In a worst-case scenario, SimHotA would finish tied for first and would win the tiebreak.
Group E – A well-fought group advances HappyKiwi and csigeee. Both players finished 2.5-0.5 with a drawn match between them. HappyKiwi, known for his excellent endgame play squeaked through tiebreaks to win the group.
Group F – Cavalirs16 won three matches and advanced. Hive newcomer, JoelAntonioMorales, finished second.
Group G – Frasco won the group with 2.5 match points and veme’s 2 match points was good for second.
Group H – Quodlibet, a four-time world champion, and hive2 each finished with 2.5 match points. Even though not winning a match, IrishRover determined the final standings in the group. IrishRover drew one game against Quodlibet, but the victory against hive2 meant that Quodlibet won the tiebreaks.
Alll-in-all the Group phase was exciting, and the Hive community is looking forward to the Single Elimination tournament, leading to the 2026 Hive World Champion.
